As spring arrives, we witness the first green buds breaking through the soil—these are the bulbous roots that have remained dormant throughout the winter. Retoñar is a Spanish term meaning to sprout, symbolizing a transition from quiet, dark inner reflection to a fresh emergence in the light of the sun and a new season.
This spring offering invites you to explore the essence of Retoñar. Each week will focus on one of the five vital winds (prana vayus) and its respective direction.
Through movement, we will unfurl like ferns.
With creativity, we will express ourselves like a blossoming lily.
By embracing rest, we will nourish ourselves like the ground absorbing melting snow.
Via the vital winds, we will welcome the new season with renewed direction.
